The date has been pushed because of COVID-19 situation across the globe.<\/p>\n<p><strong>When the changes are happening?<\/strong><br \/>\n\u2022 New Exam- 2nd January, 2021<br \/>\n\u2022 Last date of current Exam- 31st December, 2020.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What is the impact of this change?<\/strong><br \/>\n\u2022 How much is changing- <strong>Significant<\/strong><br \/>\n\u2022 Impact of Exam taker- <strong>Significant<\/strong><br \/>\n\u2022 Version of <a href=\"https:\/\/starpmo.com\/pmp-certification-training-in-hyderabad.php\">PMBOK<\/a>&#8211; Still 6th Edition itself<\/p>\n<p><strong>What is changing?<\/strong><br \/>\nOnly the Exam testing areas will change and the exam questions will be from the new domains.<br \/>\n\u2022 <strong>People<\/strong><br \/>\n&#8211; handling project teams<br \/>\n\u2022 <strong>Process<\/strong><br \/>\n&#8211; concerned with technical aspects of managing<br \/>\n\u2022 <strong>Business Environment<\/strong><br \/>\n&#8211; concerned with connecting project with business environment<\/p>\n<p><strong>Exam Pattern<\/strong><br \/>\nIncludes<br \/>\n&#8211; <strong>waterfall\/agile\/hybrid approach<\/strong>, and<br \/>\n&#8211; <strong>predictive approaches<\/strong> in project management.<br \/>\nBoth of them will have equal importance in the exam.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What concerns those who are already certified?<\/strong><br \/>\nAbsolutely nothing and your <a href=\"https:\/\/starpmo.com\/pmp-certification-training-in-hyderabad.php\">PMP<\/a> credential is secured. You need not take any bridge course or upgrade to the new exam. Having the updated understanding will do.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Suggestions?<\/strong><br \/>\nYes, it is always better to take the exam in the current version.<br \/>\nIf you already taken the training, then think of taking the exam before the new exam starts.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Remember, it is not the PMBOK which is changing. It is still PMBOK-Guide 6th Edition.
